There was much movement among car brand as Consumer Report scrutinized this year’s car reliability data to see how the number compared with the 2016 survey findings. Rankings are based on the average Predicted Reliability Score for each brand’s model lineup.
This year, Kia moves up 2 points to claim the number 3 position just behind Toyota and Lexus. Kia’s average reliability score is 71, 11 points higher than the top-most average score. Consumer Report named the Niro hybrid crossover as the most reliable model in Kia’s lineup and the Sportage took the least reliable model spot. Continue reading
