Word is out about the release of the 2017 Kia Cadenza, and the big question is, what will be new and improved from the current 2016 model? We anticipate seeing the full-size luxury v6 sedan with an updated facelift and newer technology.
While the look is similar to the 2016 predecessor, the 2017 boasts a more aggressive style, while adding a touch of class with the new front grille. First seen in sneak peeks and auto shows, the new Cadenza grille is going in a new direction than the standard “diamond butterfly” mesh we typically see from the Kia lineup. As of right now, it’s looking as though this may only be available in the higher trim option – we’ve seen from the New York Auto Show and the model brochure, the standard grille appears to still be prominent.
We’re also seeing the addition of the heads up display and a power trunk, which we first saw when the Kia K900 launched. We are also catching wind of a potentially split-opening center console? That’s cool! A fun added feature we are pretty excited about is the headlamp washer, which cleans your headlights of any mud, residue, or grime. One of the biggest visual features with the new Kia Cadenza, the headlights and the tail lights, specifically in regards to the accent portion, Kia has giving them a unique and stylish “Z” shape. This new Cadenza is looking to sport a real sense of character and quite frankly, just really cool looking lights sparking that sporty feel that customers want.
We are forecasting that the 2017 Cadenza will arrive in our stores later on this year. We haven’t received official pricing yet, but we are expecting the starting pricing to range around the current 2016 model, which starts at $32,990. We’ll be keeping you updated as more details get released, so stay tuned for additional information, as we get closer to the 2017 Kia Cadenza launch.
